Dubai is known for really cheap gold - but you'll have to haggle for it. Dubai Gold Souk or Gold Souk, is a traditional market (or souk) in Dubai, UAE. The souk is located in Dubai's commercial business district in Deira. Whether or not you're ready to buy, a stroll through the dazzling Gold Souk is a must. The stores also offer Platinum, Diamonds and occasionally Silver, and the government keeps tight control over the quality of all the merchandise, so rest assured that your purchases will be genuine. According to estimates, approximately 10 tons of Gold is present at any given time in the souk !
The Jumeirah Beach lies along Dubai's coast, providing stretches of soft white sand to relax and play. Visitors to Jumeirah's hotels, like the Burj Al Arab, enjoy private beaches offering water sports. A portion of Jumeirah beach is open to public.
Burj Al Arab (Tower of the Arabs) is a luxury hotel located in Dubai. It is the third tallest hotel in the world. It stands on an artificial island 280 m from Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to resemble the sail of a ship. It has a helipad near the roof at a height of 210 m above ground. The Burj Al Arab is a five-star hotel, the highest official ranking. While the hotel is sometimes erroneously described as "the world's only seven-star hotel", the hotel management claims to never have done that themselves.
Drive-through the Palm Jumeirah/ Palm islands:
The Palm Jumeirah is an artificial archipelago in UAE, created using land reclamation. It is located on the Jumeirah coastal area of the emirate of Dubai. The monorail, 5.4 KM long connects the Palm Jumeirah to the mainland, with a planned further extension to the Red Line of the Dubai Metro. It is the first monorail in the Middle East. Construction began with the Palm Jumeirah island in June 2001. By October 2007, the Palm Jumeirah had already become the world's largest artificial island.
Drive-through the Atlantis The Palm:
Atlantis, The Palm is a luxury hotel resort located at the apex of the Palm Jumeirah. It is the first resort to be built on the island and is themed on the myth of Atlantis but includes distinct Arabian elements. The 1,539 room nautically themed resort has two accommodation wings consisting of the East and the West Tower, linked together by the Royal Bridge suite. It is complemented by the Aquaventure water park and the Nasimi Beach, which frequently plays host to concerts and other events.
Dubai Marina
is a district in Dubai. Dubai Marina is an artificial canal city, built along a two-mile (3 KM) stretch of Persian Gulf shoreline. There have been many instances of marine wildlife (especially whales and sharks) entering the marina, because of its proximity to the open sea. Some of the supertall skyscraper of Dubai marina are Marina 101, Princess Tower, 23 Marina, Elite Residence, The Torch, Ocean Heights, Cayan Tower (Infinity tower), and Emirates Crown. The most famous Cayan Tower is a luxury apartment building with a striking helical shape, turning 90 degrees over the course of its height. Each floor is identical in plan, but is set 1.2 degrees clockwise from the floor below, giving the tower a distinctive form by way of an innovative, efficient, repeatable structure.
The Marina-101 is not only the tallest building in Dubai Marina, it is the second tallest building in whole Dubai. The Marina-101 houses the 5-star Hard Rock Hotel with 281 rooms between ground and 33rd floor, while above floor 33 are residential apartments.
The Burj Khalifa known as the Burj Dubai before its inauguration, is a mega tall skyscraper in Dubai. With a total height of 829.8 m (2,722 ft) and a roof height of 828 m (2,717 ft), the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure in the world since its topping out in late 2008. Burj Khalifa was designed to be the centrepiece of a large-scale, mixed-use development that includes 30,000 homes, nine hotels, 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of parkland, at-least 19 residential towers, the Dubai Mall, and the 12-hectare (30-acre) artificial Burj Khalifa lake. The decision to build Burj Khalifa is reportedly based on the government's decision to diversify from an oil-based economy to one that is service and tourism based. According to officials, it is necessary for projects like Burj Khalifa to be built in the city to garner more international recognition, and hence investment. The Dubai fountain in Burj Khalifa lake is the world's second largest choreographed fountain. Burj khalifa has an observation desk at 124th floor and 148th floor.

Global Village Dubailand, Dubai
Global Village claims to be the world's largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project. It is the region's first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination. The attraction features 27 pavilions. Each pavilion showcases a country or region's handicrafts, merchandise, and cuisines. Countries represented include UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Thailand, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, Morocco, Iraq, Yemen, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Alsanna, Jordan, Bosnia and Balkans. The Global village opens at 4:00 pm. It offers extensive events and entertainment programme. A fireworks display is held on every Thursday and Friday at 9:00 pm. Stage shows include Viva Bollywood II, Tell Tales, City jam Extra and Mega Monster Stunt show. Carnival also offers fairground rides for both adults and children, arcade games and games of skill.
